INTRODUCTION

The brief was to arrange a top level, exclusive 2 day incentive programme for 12 guests, aged between 25-40, to be based in a castle in Scotland or Ireland, - ideally for exclusive use, where they could experience sporting facilities – golf, cycling etc.

ANSWERING THE BRIEF

A number of venues were proposed but ultimately the client selected Luttrellstown Castle in Dublin (the venue for ‘Posh and Becks’ recent marriage). Set in the beautiful Liffe Valley and only 15 minutes from Dublin, the castle has 14 bedrooms, and includes its own 18 hole championship golf course, 20 acre fishing lake, tennis courts amongst an array of sporting facilities.

Guests were collected in limousines for the transfer to Heathrow airport and flown business class to Dublin. A luxury coach took them to Luttrellstown Castle where they were greeted with a drinks reception. Whiskey tasting had been arranged prior to dinner, and guests were entertained by jugglers and a magician during the meal, together with a performance by the choral group ‘Anuna’ of Riverdance fame.

Sporting activities were organized for the following morning, followed by lunch at the castle and then return transfer to Dublin airport.
