ANSWERING THE BRIEF
The role entails the collection, allocation and distribution of match tickets to all major sponsors, suppliers and guests of UEFA on behalf of T.E.A.M. Marketing (UEFA's CL marketing arm). Collation and distribution of hospitality packs to go with tickets. Stadium seat checks are carried out, and liaison with T.E.A.M regarding seat locations.
The work involves being able to work to tight deadlines - often receiving allocation information and distributing tickets on same day, as well as close liaison with T.E.A.M on last minute requirements. Full reporting to T.E.A.M that tickets/hospitality packs arrived safely at destinations through thorough checking and tracking procedures.

In a ticketing environment it is vital to work with a philosophy of 'zero error', - systems need to be in place to ensure that tickets and documentation are checked double checked, and then triple checked before being distributed. Sportsworld have built up this type of experience over many years working with large ticket volumes at major international events.
For the Champions League Final we are responsible for the management and distribution of approx 8,000 tickets each year, although in the 1999/2000 season we processed 50,000 tickets over the whole season. In major event contexts these numbers are not daunting but nevertheless the standards of precision needed in the processing are just as high.
