Sportsworld release Athens 2004 registration brochure

Sportsworld Group plc, the British Olympic Association’s official ticket and tour operator for Athens 2004, has released its initial registration brochure for the Games

Athens is expected to be an extremely popular Games for visitors from the UK both because of its location and because it is, of course, the original home to the Olympics. It is also expected that many people will use the Games as an extension to their main summer holiday in Greece. Over 1,000 people have already registered their interest with Sportsworld and the company expects high levels of bookings for the event.
By registering now people can secure priority status, guaranteeing them access to Sportsworld¹s advance information and finalised programme prior to its public release (due some time in early 2003). Sportsworld will be offering a choice of durations from 3 nights through to the full 18 days of competition for the real sports enthusiast.
The registration brochure gives indicative prices for fully inclusive tours, independent tours and event tickets only. For example a 3 night fully inclusive tour starts at £1995 per person for three nights, £2395 for 6 nights, £3995 for 12 nights and £5395 for 18 nights.
These fully inclusive tour prices will include return scheduled flights, transfers, access to officially sourced event tickets, comprehensive pre-departure information, bed and breakfast accommodation, the services of Sportsworld staff on location, access to Sportsworld¹s exclusive information centre in Athens, a selection of souvenir gift items and other activities including welcome party, barbecues etc, access to Sportsworld¹s exclusive event transportation system (at additional cost) and comprehensive pre/post tour booking service throughout the Greek islands.
In addition, Sportsworld are looking to offer a number of special sports related holidays, - with the chance to receive coaching from past Olympic athletes, combined with tickets to those specific sports in Athens.
