Sportsworld and the Professional Rugby Players Association join forces for the 2003 Rugby World Cup

Sportsworld has been appointed as an official tour operator for the Rugby World Cup, 2003 which is taking place in Australia from 10 October - 22 November 2003.

Sportsworld has unrivalled experience organising ticket and tour programmes to major sporting events.  The company has handled  every Olympic Games since 1984, every Soccer World Cup since 1982 and every Commonwealth Games since 1986.  In addition they are well known for operating an extensive rugby programmes major rugby internationals.

For RWC 2003, Sportsworld are delighted to announce that they have entered into an exclusive partnership with the Players Union, the Professional Rugby Players Association (PRA), to promote the event amongst rugby supporters. Comments Simon Gillespie 'The PRA's advice and input into our programmes will add real value, and they will be assisting us in putting together 'celebrity hosts' at the different functions we will be organising throughout the competition. It's great to have them on the team."

Sportsworld will be offering three main types of programme - Fully Inclusive Tours, Independent Tours  and Flight and Match Tickets

Fully inclusive prices range from £2695 for a five night tour to see England v South Africa, to £3495 to watch the World Cup Final, and 3rd/4th play off .For both of these tours,  the price includes return flights UK to Australia, transfers, 5 nights bed and breakfast accommodation in Australia, tickets and transfers to and from the stadium, a welcome party and at least one dinner or lunch function with a celebrity rugby host, a selection of souvenir gift items and the services of Sportsworld staff on site throughout the stay.
